USDA Agriculture in the Classroom supports state programs by providing a network that seeks to improve agricultural literacy — awareness, knowledge, and appreciation — among PreK-12 teachers and their students.

The Annenberg Classroom site connects award-winning, comprehensive curriculum on the Constitution and its amendments to daily civics news and student discussion. Their nonpartisan writers sift through national and local news and select current events expressly for social studies classrooms.  And twice weekly, they write an article on a portion of this news with links to multimedia curriculum.

The main mode of searching within the site, and the main way that web surfers find their way to us, is a search on an artist's name.

The project draws on research showing that an integrated approach can improve student achievement in science.

Casa Notes

Educate CaliforniaCasa Notes is designed to allow teachers to quickly make, and customize, typical notes that are sent home to parents or given to the students. This is done by using templates and allowing the teachers to customize some of the content, choose a color scheme and add a graphic. The notes can then be printed on a black-and-white or color printer to be used. Teachers can select whether the notes should be in English or in Spanish.

The CBEST is designed to test basic reading, mathematics, and writing skills found to be important for the job of an educator; the test is not designed to measure the ability to teach those skills.
